PSD Foundation Breakfast 2011

Nearly 350 supporters of Poudre School District gathered April 19 at the PSD Foundation’s annual community breakfast to celebrate the projects the foundation is providing to help secure support for the future of every child, every day.\nFoundation president Barb Wallner opened by thanking attendees for passing the mill levy and bond issue in November 2010 that provides additional funding to PSD. “This money will help maintain the excellence of PSD for years to come,” said Dr. Wallner.\nMaster of ceremonies Tom Lopez, principal of Rocky Mountain High School, thanked the community for supporting the foundation in recent years and making programs like the Digital Educator Program and Supporting Partnerships in Innovative Education (SPIE) grants possible.\n\nThe PSD Foundation, whose mission is “uniting community resources for excellence in public education,” collaborates with the district’s Partnership, Volunteer and Share It staff to provide one-stop service to show people how they can provide support to PSD.\nhttp://www.flickr.com//photos/psdschools/sets/72157626647197646/show/
