Global Explorers - World Aware Costa Rica 2009

On this edition of Passports to Learning, we follow 15 PSD teachers and counselors who traveled to Costa Rica through the Global Explorers program in June of 2009. Through various service and community projects, educators gained precious experiences to bring back to their classrooms. Cultural awareness and global perspective are shaping a large part of students' 21st century required skillsets--World Aware Costa Rica has given these teachers a way to meet those needs.
